国人饮食严重'高盐低钾'

Researchers recently conducted an investigation into Chinese people's dietary habits and suggested they should consume less sodium and more potassium.

研究人员最近对中国人的饮食习惯进行了调查，建议人们少摄入钠、多摄入钾。

The research team, led by the George Institute for Global Health (China), the Chinese Center for Disease Prevention and Control, and Queen Mary University of London, collected data from a survey of more than 5, participants in six provinces.

由乔治全球健康研究所（中国）、中国疾病预防控制中心和伦敦玛丽女王大学的研究人员组成的团队收集了来自六个省的多名受访者的调查数据。

The results revealed the average sodium intake was over 4, mg per day (equivalent to grams of salt), whereas the average daily potassium intake was below 1, mg.

结果显示，受访者日均钠摄入量超过毫克(相当于克盐)，而日均钾摄入量低于毫克。

A high-salt and low-potassium diet is common in the Chinese population.

It has previously been demonstrated that sodium and potassium intakes are associated with blood pressure.

The researchers called on people across the country to decrease salt and increase potassium in their diets to prevent and control hypertension, thus reducing their risk of cardiovascular disease.

研究人员呼吁全国各地的人们在饮食中减少盐的摄入，增加钾的摄入，以预防和控制高血压，从而降低心血管疾病的患病风险。

The Ming Dynasty () painter Wu Bin's long scroll "Ten Views of a Fantastic Rock" was sold for million yuan ($ million) at the 15th Anniversary Celebration of Beijing Poly Auction on Sunday, marking the highest auction price for ancient Chinese artworks.

月日，在北京保利拍卖十五周年庆典拍卖会现场，明代画家吴彬的长卷《十面灵璧图卷》以亿元人民币(约合万美元)成交，创下中国古代艺术品拍卖价格的最高纪录。

According to historical records, a well-known figure in the Ming Dynasty received a strange stone that he liked so much that he invited Wu to paint it.

据史书记载，明朝有一个大人物得到了一块奇石，爱不释手，于是邀请吴彬为这块石头绘制长卷。

Wu depicted the stone from different views and the figure invited a group of friends to write prefaces and postscripts on the painting, which became known as "Ten Views of a Fantastic Rock".

吴彬分别从十个侧面描绘了这块奇石的形态，大人物又邀请了一众好友为此画题跋，共同完成了这幅《十面灵璧图卷》。

>Better use of museum resources

中小学拟设博物馆课程

The Ministry of Education and the National Cultural Heritage Administration co-released a document on Monday to guide better introduction of resources of museums into education at school.

教育部和国家文物局月日联合发布关于利用博物馆资源开展中小学教育教学的意见。

As per the document, schools nationwide are urged to design new activities related to history, natural science, and technology, based on collections in local museums.

意见指出，全国各地中小学要充分挖掘当地博物馆资源，研究开发历史类、自然科学类、科技类等系列活动课程。

Syllabuses of courses such as Chinese, history, geography, fine arts, physics, chemistry and, biology, among others, will include contents on museums.

语文、历史、地理、美术、物理、化学、生物等学科教学，要有机融入博物馆教育内容。

More extracurricular activities after 3: pm are encouraged to feature museums, according to the document. Not only guided tours to venues, but also creative formats like lectures, role-play games, and comic books on museums are needed to increase the students' interest.

意见指出，鼓励在下午3点半课后时间开设博物馆系列活动课程。不仅限于解说导览，还应运用专题讲座、角色扮演、漫画书等创新方式，增强学生学习兴趣。

>WHO's vaccine plan goes well

世卫疫苗计划进展顺利

A total of countries and economies have now joined COVAX, an international initiative co-led by the World Health Organization and partners to ensure effective and equitable global access to COVID- vaccines, the WHO chief announced on Monday.

世界卫生组织总干事谭德塞月日表示，目前已有个国家和地区加入由世卫组织及其合作伙伴发起的"新冠肺炎疫苗实施计划"，更多国家有望公平有效地获得新冠疫苗。

"COVAX is the most effective way to share safe and effective vaccines equitably across the world," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a virtual press conference.

谭德塞在当天举行的线上新闻发布会上说，"新冠肺炎疫苗实施计划"是目前世界范围内公平分享安全有效疫苗的最有效机制。

Tedros also mentioned "the worrying phase" that the COVID- pandemic has entered.

谭德塞还表示，新冠疫情已经进入一个"令人担忧的阶段"。

According to the website of WHO, as of Monday, there were COVID- candidate vaccines being developed worldwide, and of them were in clinical trials.

根据世卫组织网站公布的最新数据，截至月日，各国正在研发的候选新冠疫苗共有种，其中种已进入临床试验阶段。
